What does your QelviQ warranty cover?

A QelviQ warranty covers the repair or replacement (at QelviQ's discretion) of your QelviQ if it is determined within the warranty period that the defect is due to defective materials or poor workmanship.

What is not covered by a QelviQ warranty?

QelviQ Your Personal Sommelier is designed and manufactured to provide continuous high performance in normal domestic environments. If a QelviQ appliance is used in the way it was intended and breaks down within the warranty period, it is our responsibility to repair or replace it.

However, there are circumstances where a QelviQ warranty will not cover the repair or replacement of an appliance. These are not in the fine print. Below is what is not covered:

  • Accidental damage
  • Damage resulting from use not in accordance with the rating plate.
  • Damage resulting from exposure high temperatures (45°C or higher).
  • Damage from external sources such as transport, weather, power outages or fluctuations in the power supply.
  • Defects caused by circumstances beyond QelviQ's control.
  • Defects caused by:
    • Careless use, incorrect use, negligence or incorrect operation of the device;
    • Use of a QelviQ for purposes other than what is considered normal use.
    • Use of parts and accessories that are not genuine QelviQ parts.
    • Incorrect fitting or installation (except when carried out by QelviQ).
    • Repairs or modifications carried out by parties other than QelviQ or its authorized agents.

What are the warranty conditions?

The QelviQ warranty terms are as follows:

  • You will be required to provide proof of purchase/delivery before we can carry out any warranty work on your device. Without this proof, you will owe costs for work carried out. Keep your proof of purchase or delivery.
  • All work is carried out by QelviQ or its authorized agents.
  • Parts that are replaced become the property of QelviQ.
  • The repair or replacement of your device under warranty does not extend the warranty period.
  • The warranty offers benefits that are additional to your legal rights as a customer and that do not affect these rights.

When does the warranty start?

The QelviQ warranty becomes effective on the date your appliance is delivered, provided that this date is later than the date on the invoice.

Where is the QelviQ warranty valid?

The warranty for this device is valid in the European Union and in any country where the QelviQ is sold, and its electrical standards are 100 – 220 Volts / 50-60 Hz / Wattage: 120 Watt.

If you take your device abroad, the warranty may be void. However, we will do our best to help you in your new country of residence.

Are QelviQ warranties transferable?

QelviQ warranties are transferable with the appliance, provided original proof of purchase from an authorized dealer is provided, together with proof of change of ownership of the appliance confirming that the appliance was in good condition at the time of change of ownership.

  • Please refrain from attempting to repair the QelviQ, as doing so poses a risk of injury, potential damage to the QelviQ, or voiding the warranty.

For any service or repair needs, always reach out to QelviQ Customer Care. Should your QelviQ require repairs, our dedicated customer care team will facilitate the process by providing you with a return label. You will then be able to drop off the device at a designated location for shipping. Upon completion of the repairs, your QelviQ will be returned to you, free of charge. Alternatively, if deemed necessary, we will dispatch a replacement unit to ensure your satisfaction and continuous enjoyment of our product.

Engaging in any operation explicitly prohibited in this manual, or undertaking adjustments and assembly procedures not advised or authorized within this manual, will result in the voiding of the warranty.

This product has been introduced to the market by Kellvin NV or one of its affiliates, hereinafter referred to as QelviQ, serving as the manufacturer of the product. QelviQ holds the responsibility as the warranty provider for the QelviQ Your Personal Sommelier packaged with this booklet. Specifications may change without prior notice.

QelviQ retains the right to modify its products without the obligation to retrofit earlier supplies. If the product is employed for purposes other than those outlined herein, QelviQ cannot guarantee its proper functionality and performance.
