Ideal Wine Serving Temperature for Chardonnay
Chardonnay is a versatile white wine grape that has been rising in popularity for the last 30 years. Its potential to reflect the winemaker's technique and terroir makes this grape variety very interesting. In cooler regions, it has aromas that range from green or yellow apple pieces, pear as well, but in warmer regions, the aromas become more tropical fruits with lower acidity. They can be oaked, or unoaked, and many have a buttery flavor due to their contact with oak during aging.

"Hi l am Wim, sommelier, and wine enthusiast just like you! My fellow sommeliers understand the importance of serving wine at the correct temperature. They know that if wine is too warm, it will lose its flavors and complexities, and if wine is served too cold, it will numb your taste buds. A few world renown sommeliers and myself will explain this further, and share some interesting (taste) case studies."
